Arkansans overwhelmingly approved a Scholarship Lottery last November. Under Lieutenant Governor Bill Halter's plan to distribute the net proceeds you will receive a HOPE Scholarship if:

  • You're an Arkansas high school graduate.
  • You achieve a 2.5 Grade Point Average or higher.
  • You're admitted to a college or university in Arkansas.
    ... You get a $5,000 scholarship to a 4-year school.
    ... You get a $2,500 scholarship to a 2-year school.
